Introducing Snippie

We’ve rolled out a new service today called “Snippie” (snippie.net).

Snippie is a pasteboard service geared towards developers inspired by Josh Goebel’s Pastie, however, it’s fully integrated with QuickShareIt.

QuickShareIt has had primitive pasteboard functionality for almost a year now, but Snippie takes things to the next level.

When highlighting a block of code and dragging and dropping it into the QuickShareIt icon, QuickShareIt and Snippie will attempt to detect what language you’re using and provide a Snippie link with syntax highlighted code in return, instead of the usual QuickShareIt link.

Snippie is also 100% private, there’s no need to check off a box to make sure the whole world doesn’t see your code.
