F-MyLife Pro Skyrockets Up to #4 on iTunes

After only 24 hours on the AppStore, F-MyLife Pro was able to grab the #4 seat on the iTunes Top Paid chart.

The rest of the way up is going to be a tough journey as we’re battling with great apps like “The Sims 3”, “The Moron Test” and “Stick Wars”.

Status Update on F-MyLife

We finally had F-MyLife 1.5.1 get approved by Apple last week, so you should all be running that now.

A lot of you are complaining about the ads, especially since we changed the way they worked in the new version.  The changes we made were due to suggestions from our ad providers. As for getting rid of the ads, we submitted a Pro version of F-MyLife back when we originally submitted F-MyLife 1.5 (April 16).  The Pro version has no ads, and the following features:

• Write your own FMLs
• Post comments on FMLs
• Share FMLs (Twitter / Email to a Friend)
• Keep track of your Favorite FMLs
• Moderate FMLs that aren’t public yet

We honestly have no idea why F-MyLife Pro isn’t live yet.  Apple called us several times over the last 2 weeks to have us fix what they weren’t comfortable with in F-MyLife to get it approved, both the free version and Pro version.  F-MyLife Free went live last Tuesday when they said it would, but Pro didn’t, and we haven’t heard anything about it since then.  We’re going to attempt to get in touch with them again early this week to see what the hold up is.

The Pro version, when it finally gets on AppStore, will sell for 99c.

As for sites similar to fmylife.com that you want us to create apps for, we’re more than willing.  However we’re not going to do apps for sites that directly copy FML, so don’t bother requesting.  We’ve already created an app for TextsFromLastNight, however we’ve yet to receive permission to use it.

We Officially Have Our First #1 App: FMyLife!

Well it’s about time.

After months of pumping out some pretty incredible iPhone apps, we finally captured the #1 spot on iTunes.

Our FMyLife app which works with the incredibly hilarious website, http://fmylife.com is #1 on the US Top Free Apps list.

We’ve got a lot on the way as far as FMyLife goes, we have a minor update we submitted with Apple a little over a week ago that should be hitting AppStore soon.  Beyond that, we’ve been working on FMyLife for the last few days and have an awesome 1.5 version ready to be submitted as soon as Apple approves 1.0.1.

Reader 1.2 Live on AppStore!

The latest update to Reader has just gone live AppStore!  You can grab it here. (AppStore Link)

Here’s what we’ve changed:

• You can now rename feeds
• Fixed a few crashing problems due to certain feeds
• Improved date support so you don’t see the current date for all items in a feed
• Fixed “Preparing Update…” not going away if you don’t use auto update
• Fixed an issue for Twitter accounts if the password contains foreign characters
